Towbook Element: Audit & Lock Calls

What does the 'Audit & Lock' feature do?
Managers and accountants can use the 'Audit & Lock' feature as an additional layer of checks and balances when managing completed calls.
The Audit Feature
- Gives a visual cue that the call has been reviewed by a manager or accountant.
- Reduces the guesswork of who audited the charges.
- Eliminates the need to open each call for billing, as a team member has already confirmed the accuracy of the charges and balance owed.
The Lock Feature
- Offers the flexibility to close off the ability of future modifications.
- Allows managers & accounts control to lock/unlock the call.
- Once the call has been locked, it will no longer present an option to modify, instead offering only a "View" option.
Where can I audit & lock calls in Towbook?
You can audit and lock calls from various places in Towbook, wherever you see the icons:
- The "Completed" tab on the "Dispatching" screen.
- When recording a payment on a completed call from the "Dispatching" screen.
- In the call editor when saving changes to a completed call.
- When you select a specific account in the "Accounts" tab.
- Several reports, including the "Call Analysis", "Call Workflow", and "Dispatching Analysis" reports.

HELPFUL HINT: When hovering over the Audit or Lock button in Towbook, it will show who and on what date the call was audited or locked.
