Towbook Element: AutoDataDirect (ADD123) Integration Update

DMV123 Records
Now, when a DMV123 search occurs in Towbook, the DMV123 record that ADD generates will come right into your system! You’ll have access to this record under "Impounds" → Select the impound to view the record → "Files".
WHAT IS DMV123?
DMV123 searches via AutoDataDirect provide owner and lienholder names and addresses so you can notify the required parties that you have their vehicle. NMVTIS Forms
Additionally, we now pull the shortened corporate NMVTIS form into Towbook when an NMVTIS search occurs! You’ll now have access to both the long form and shortened version in Towbook. These documents can also be found under "Impounds" → Select the impound to view the record → "Files".
WHAT IS NMVTIS?
NMVTIS (National Motor Vehicle Title Information System) is known under various names, including Title Pointer, JSI, and Theft Check. This service lets you learn which state a vehicle was last registered in as soon as you impound a vehicle!
WHAT INFORMATION DOES NMVTIS PROVIDE?
NMVTIS is a powerful tool for your business to provide things like:
- Current state of title.
- Previous state of title.
- Theft Data.

Connect to ADD123 via Towbook
If you are already an ADD123 customer, you can connect to Towbook now! Please note, the connection is linked to your Towbook user account. Each employee in your company authorized to use ADD must go to this page and connect to ADD with their credentials. Connecting to ADD123 with Towbook as a Manager:
- Click on the “Settings” tab.
- Select “Impounds”.
- Click on “AutoDataDirect Integration” and connect there.
Connecting to ADD123 with Towbook as a Dispatcher:
- Click on the “Impounds” tab.
- Click on any impound to enter the impound details page.
- Select the button to “Connect to ADD123”.
- Once connected, the button will change to say “Import from DMV123".
