Towbook Element: Pricing Rules

Automatically add rate items to your call using pricing rules!

Pricing rules allow service items to be automatically applied to calls on a per-account basis.

These rules can be added based on factors such as vehicle weight, reason, and number of days a vehicle has been held.

How to add pricing rules

  • Go to the "Accounts" tab → Click on the desired account → Select "Modify Account" → Click on the "Rules" tab.
  • Select the "Add Rule" button and choose what service item you'd like to be automatically added to calls
  • Next, add your criteria for reason, weight, and/or how many days the vehicle has been held.
  • Once finished, click the "Save" button.

HELPFUL HINT: To include the rate item on every call for that account, simply leave the reason field blank.
